Some handsets are integrated with built-in tools for blocking calls and texts. It is your duty now to find that tool in your devices. Blocking calls is more popular than blocking text messages in most of smartphones today. However, there is a good place to start searching for that tool. And we will categorize into brands. The first is Samsung. You open the Phone app > Select More > Go to Settings > Call blocking. Then you add numbers to the block list and create an automated message for rejecting calls. In case you want to block messages, go to the Log tab, select a number > More > Block settings. Then turn on Call Block and Message Block.
The second is HTC. You open the Phone app > Call history > long-press a number from the list > Block contact/Block caller. The third brand is LG. Open the Phone app again > tap the three-dot menu icon > Settings > Call reject > Rejects calls from > tap the icon (+) to add numbers. With Motorola brand, it only allows you to send unwanted calls to voicemail. Open the Contacts app > select the contact block > tap the three-dot menu icon > select All calls to voicemail.
The final brand we would like to mention in our list today is Nexus. You go to the Phone app > call log > select a number to block > tap the three-dot menu icon > select Add to reject list. Or you can do in another way by pushing all calls to voicemail.
