Three New iPhones to Release in 2017

We have some news about Apple: the company is going to release three new iPhones this year: two “normal” iPhones (probably iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus) and one which should be particularly powerful. However, all three smartphones are supposed to get a feature that is totally new for Apple.

All three new iPhones with Wireless charging?

Unfortunately, the information about the three iPhone models is, of course, unofficial. But, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most reliable insiders regarding Apple, has confirmed more or less the new mumblings about three new iPhones. One of them could be a special ten-year anniversary handset, called “iPhone X” with an OLED screen and elegant glass casing.

Kuo claimed, all three upcoming iPhones will sport wireless charging which would be the first time for the Californian company to offer a feature like this. However, it could be a technical challenge for Apple: wireless charging increases the internal temperature of a smartphone and this problem must be solved. How did they do that?

Kuo said that the new iPhone X or rather iPhone 8, with an OLED display and glass chassis, will have a new 3D Touch module with “additional graphite coating” which protects the device against overheating and  for improved thermal control. According to rumors, the new 3D Touch model could cost about $5 more that the old module. If you add everything up, also to the OLED screens which have a higher price and quality than LCDs, the expected price would be more than $1000 per phone.

Three New iPhones to Release in 2017

We are looking forward to Apple’s three new iPhones in 2017: to iPhone X (or iPhone 8), iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. If it’s true that Apple is going to add wireless charging, would be a great and convenient feature for many users. Let’s wait and see.
