Sony has just brought users a new action-adventure game: The Last Guardian, which is the spiritual successor to “Shadow of the Colossus” and “Ico” games. The game will be available on Play Station 4 with a greater graphic and some big innovations. 

The Last Guardian: Adventuring with the giant-beast-Cat

“The last Guardian” is a new video game from Team Ico – a famous game development team in Japan. They become famous after launching Ios and Shadow of the Colossus. Those games got more love from gamers and now, “The Las Guardian” is promising the same. This game was developed in 2007 and will be launch in October 2016: that’s a long time for waiting, however, the wait is worthy when considering what will it bring gamers.

How to play the game! To start with, if you played Shadow of the Colossus or IOS, you’ll easily understand how to play ” The Last Guardian”. If you never played those games and want to try The Last Guardian, don’t worry. This is an action-adventure game: that means you have to use skill to run, jump, climb, etc. In the gameplay, you become a mysterious boy to adventure together with Trico-a supportive character. Trico is a giant beast bird-like animal. ( but it feels much more like a cat!). To start the game, you need to gain Trico’s trust first, by finishing a series of puzzles and trials. When you get his trust, Trico will follow you around and support you to overcome a ton of challenges.

However, the game is not easy as what you might think. Even when you earned Trico’s trust and he agreed to follow you, Trico could not response immediately when you need help. When two characters being close (your character and Trico), both will act as a team. However, when you are far away Trico, he will do whatever he wants. That also makes ” The Last Guardian” game more interesting.

The Last Guardian : The launch date with big innovations

Compared to its predecessors:  “Ico” and ” Shadow of the Colossus, in “The Last Guardian”, two main characters feel like a team much more. This promise interesting yet new experiences for gamers. As the previous plan, Sony will launch The Last Guardian on Play Station 3. However, from the recent statement, the company confirmed the game is playable on Play Station 4. That mean this game will come with an awesome graphic to matchable with PS 4. The official launch date of The Last Guardian is on 28 October 2016. Do you want to try this game in October?
