Duo Sony Xperia XZ2 Europe pre-order begins for Europe!

Regarding the display, Sony Xperia XZ2 specs come with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD with an 18:9 ratio (1080 x 2160 pixels). On the other hand, Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact specs pack a 5-inch IPS LCD (1080 x 2160 pixels). Besides that, Sony Xperia XZ2 camera system features a single 19MP snapper on the back and a 5MP selfie sensor.

Whereas, Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact camera offers 19MP rear sensor and 5MP front-facing snapper. The things the two devices have in common are Snapdragon 845 chipset, Android 8.0 Oreo OS, 4/6GB RAM and 64GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB). However, Sony Xperia XZ2 battery rocks a non-removable 3180mAh juice box. Meanwhile, Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact battery contains a 2870mAh capacity.

Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact come in four colour variants: Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green and Coral Pink. Prices and availability of the two handsets highly depend on your location. So if you are planning to buy the Sony Xperia XZ2 in the UK, you’ll have to pay with no less than £699 ~ Rs 62,8000. According to Amazon, the smartphone will hit the shelves on April 5. So you’ll still have to wait for about a month. On the other hand, Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact costs just £529 ~ Rs 47,500. And should be released on the market on the same date – April 5. Apparently, Amazon is selling dual-SIM versions of the smartphones as well, and for the same price.

Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact release dates and price in the US

Alas, there’s still no word on the US retail price or specific launch dates. But based on these numbers, we’d guess the Sony Xperia XZ2 price will start somewhere between $700 – $800, with the Compact version likely going for $550 or $600.
