Best smartphone commercials: Apple, Samsung, Nokia, and…>
Many people who purchase smartphone make their choice due to the advertising and marketing promotion. Today, let us introduce to you the list of best smartphone commercials. Keep on reading for more details!
1. Samsung Galaxy: The Rest of Us
The first commercial of best smartphone commercials is Samsung Galaxy: The Rest of Us. As you may know, this commercial was released in February in 2017 after the Nokia 7 debacle. “The Rest of Us” features filmmaker Casey delivering his own rendition of an award show acceptance speech.
On the other hand, it confirmed how people might use their Galaxy device to really make inventive movies without the need for a big budget or studio. Overall, Samsung Galaxy: The Rest of Us was the first success in Samsung’s multichannel approach to reinforce its call to Do What You Can’t brand campaign.
2. Nokia Lumia 920 “Don’t Fight”
The second ad of best smartphone commercials belongs to Nokia. In 2013, Nokia and Windows joined forces to beat Apple and Samsung with Nokia Lumia 920. According to the commercial, the Android and iPhone fans should be clashing at a video. It quickly fell into a fight over who’s smartphone was better. In the end, the Nokia Lumia 920 was left standing with the slogan “Don’t fight. Switch”. However, the video doesn’t say too much about the Nokia Lumia 920 features. Overall, Nokia Lumia 920 “Don’t Fight” was a nice industrial for a product.
3. Apple iPhone 4S “Siri”
In the Apple iPhone 4S commercial, Zooey Deschanel uses Siri’s “intelligent personal assistant” technology to respond to verbal commands. She asked Siri quite simple issues, and got immediate and correct responses. Finally, the advertising made Siri look fantastic, and it has been promoted to ones which had not bought an iPhone before head to make purchase.
4. Nokia Lumia 900 “The smartphone beta test is over”
Nokia Lumia 900 was launched in 2012 at a time when Microsoft was nonetheless attempting to make Home Telephone a factor. The advertising tries to claim that Nokia Lumia 900 is the first real smartphone. Parnell, in his deadpan humor type, walks around telling unsuspecting those whose all earlier smartphones have been nothing greater than a beta test for the Nokia 900. Overall, Nokia Lumia 900 “The smartphone beta test is over” was definitely humorous and memorable.
5. HTC “Here’s to change”
The last commercial of best smartphone commercials is HTC “Here’s to change”. For its first, and most memorable, industrial with Downey Jr, HTC went all in with the actor’s persona of kooky super-confidence. It confirmed the actor attempting to give you an approach to clarify what “HTC” really meant. Besides that, we noticed some really weird situations that targeted on these concepts, resembling “hipster troll carwash” and “humongous tinfoil catamaran”. Overall, it was surreal and eye-popping and, for sure, very entertaining. Nevertheless, even Iron Man was unable to get HTC to promote extra telephones, though it tried once more with a bizarre sequence of quick movies that includes RDJ in 2015.

Samsung Galaxy S10 trio
Samsung mobile is gearing for the unveiling of the Galaxy Note 9 about a month from today in NYC. After that, the company is planning to switch focus on the upcoming beast Galaxy S10. While the expected Galaxy S10 launch time is still months away, we are already beginning to hear rumours about the device. Starting things off, there are talks that Samsung would be unveiling not two, but a trio of the flagship S10 next year.
Two of them will be the usual models – the Galaxy s10 and S10 plus, in addition to a third variant that is more gearing towards the budget line. The regular Galaxy S10 has a codenamed Beyond 1, the S10 Plus codenamed Beyond 2, while the third variant is Beyond 3. We are not exactly sure what are the differences between them. But there are reports that the entry-level variant is going to have a rear side fingerprint sensor and a flat infinity display.
Meanwhile, the normal S10 and S10 Plus will both come with the in-display fingerprint sensors and curved infinity display. The decision to include a third entry-level variant could be an attempt to lure more buyers to reinforce sales from the company’s execs. Speculations have it that the entry-level variant will have a compact size 5.8″ infinity display, whereas the S10 and 10 Plus will scale up to 6.2 and 6.4″ respectively. Specs details are still not in the clear. But our guess is that the budget S10 could come with a smaller battery capacity compared to that of the S10 and S10 Plus.

LG Display: the future screens Apple choose for iPhone X Plus
It looks like Apple and LG have joined hands together! Apparently, LG Display is now in charge of producing OLED screens for iPhone X Plus models. Keep reading for more details!
LG Display x Apple’s OLED display collaboration
Bad news for Samsung! Apple recently invested $2.7 billion in LG Display to help build OLED panels for its 2018 iPhones. According to China Morning Post, Apple is planning to get LG as its second OLED supplier and will initially deliver between 2 ~ 4 million units. In addition, LG is said to be building a production line dedicated to iPhone orders only, as part of its agreement with Apple. But 4 million doesn’t even scratch the surface of iPhones that are going to ship this year.
So LG will be having just 20% of the OLED supply chain while the rest will still go to Samsung. Related sources claim that LG Display wants to take a bigger cut, but it’s not ready to meet the full demand for OLED panels. Besides, LG Display is going to produce the iPhone X Plus’ 6.5-inch panels. In details, the iPhone X Plus has upgradable RAM to 3GB with 128GB/256GB of internal storage (no card slot).
On top of that, it works on the latest iOS 11.1.1 as the operating system and packs a non-removable Li-Ion 2900 mAh capacity. Next, iPhone X Plus camera system features a dual 13MP camera on the back. On the other hand, the front-facing camera sports 8MP for taking selfies. We expect Apple to launch them in September 2018 for around $1100 ~ Rs. 70, 862.
The bottom line
However, there is still some internal conflict at Apple’s HQ whether or not LG Display should be a second OLED supplier; or just rely solely on Samsung as they did with the iPhone X models last year. If LG is able to meet the requirements, this will give Apple some leverage to negotiate to price and reduce its reliance with Samsung.
