Galaxy S8 features not widely known!

Samsung has released its new flagship duo, Galaxy S8 and S8+ recently. The new devices were instantly in the spotlight, with a lot of deserved praises. However, there are some unnoticed Galaxy S8 features as well!

Galaxy S8 features

Galaxy S8 features not widely known!

First of all, it is the speaker. Despite only sporting a single speaker at the bottom of the phone, it still managed to sound significantly clearer and louder without distortion. That is the result after testing itself against S7 Edge or LG V20. So, the speaker, despite not widely advertised, is actually really good. Secondly, being able to zoom in the camera app is quite pleasant as well. Normally, you have to use both hands, one to hold the camera, and one to pinch to zoom. Now, with S8, you can slide the shutter button up and down (or left to right in portrait mode) to zoom in and out, simple as that. Those are some nice Galaxy S8 features!

Another nice one among unannounced Galaxy S8 features is the fingerprint swipe gestures for notifications. Actually, this was first implemented in the Google Pixel, where you swipe down on the fingerprint sensor to open notification panel, swipe down one more to expand it, and swipe up to close. This feature has been implemented in the new Galaxy S8 as well, excluding the second swiping down gesture. However, that is not much of a burden to most users.

Galaxy S8 features

Next is the default launcher. This can be considered one of the best Galaxy S8 features, as the new default launcher looks not only beautiful, but also good in functionality as well. There are also some unique aspect of the launcher not found on any other like new weather widget, which fits perfectly with the Always-on Display. Last but not least is the new home button. It is now embedded under the screen, and still works wonderfully well. Pushing the home button when in a full-screen app will take you straight back home too, so you don’t need to swipe up anymore. The new Samsung flagship truly has some great unannounced features!

Galaxy S8 features: Going great with the device!

The new Galaxy S8 not only has good specs, but also good features as well, like those above. Samsung Galaxy S8 price starts at Rs. 57,900. Do you plan to buy this new flagship?

Samsung Galaxy S9 concept: SND 845, 4K AMOLED

After the release of the Galaxy S8 and S8+, now is the time for people to speculate about the next devices that Samsung may release in the future. One is the Galaxy Note 8, and the other one is the Galaxy S9. Today let’s look at one Samsung Galaxy S9 concept!

Samsung Galaxy S9 concept

Samsung Galaxy S9 concept: SND 845, 95% screen

The release of the duo devices, Galaxy S8 and S8+, has left a very good impression on people. The new phones were highly rated and praised. It makes people want to speculate on what Samsung will do next with the new devices. It is still too soon, so for now it is just self-designed concepts floating around now. One of them asks the question of what the S8 could have done better, and made a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 concept, and it looks amazing!

This concept is designed by Techconfiguration, a frequent designer of cool phone concepts. He has done quite a few designs before. From the outset, the screen is definitely one of Galaxy S9 specs’ highlights. For this concept, it sports a 5.8″ 4K AMOLED display with aspect ratio 18:5:9, and screen-to-body ratio is 95%. That number is impressive, as it is even greater than Xiaomi Mi Mix. The fingerprint scanner is now also moved to below the screen.

Inside, the Galaxy S9 is powered by the would-be newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. That will be accompanied by 6 to 8GB of RAM. With that set-up, the phone would definitely be a beast in terms of performance. In terms of camera, with more flagships adapting the dual camera set-up, this Samsung Galaxy S9 concept seems to finally follow that trend, having a dual camera at the back, with two 12MP sensors. At the front would be an 8MP camera. Overall, it has made some changes to the designs of S8, and elevate it further. This Galaxy S9 is truly beautiful and powerful.

Samsung Galaxy S9 concept: A beauty and a beast!

This Samsung Galaxy S9 concept is truly remarkable. Hopefully, when Samsung announces their plans for the new S9, the phone would come close to this wonderful concept!

Note 8 render is beautiful!

Samsung has just introduced their flagships, Galaxy S8 and S8+, recently. Now it is time to look forward to the next big device, Note 8. Recently, there is one Note 8 render surfacing, and it is beautiful!

Note 8 render

Note 8 render is beautiful!

Recently, all the talks around have been about the newly released flagship duo, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ from Samsung. These devices deserve every bit of praise coming their way. Despite that, many people are already looking forward to the next big device from the Korean giant. The next big smartphone from Samsung is none other than Galaxy Note 8. For now, there are only concepts floating around. Among them, one Note 8 render truly stands out.

This time, designer Ivo Maric has done a truly outstanding job with this Note 8 render. Right from the start, we can see similarity with the S8/S8+ duo already, with the curved screen at the corners and edges. The screen this time reaches up to 6.4″. This design still keeps the Infinity Display concept on the new S8/S8+. However, for a Note, this design still looks kind of narrow, and there is a stylus slot on the side. The virtual buttons are also kept from S8, as is the Bixby dedicated physical button. The back of the device looks to be coated in glass.

Also at the back of this Note 8 render is a dual camera set-up. This would be the first time Samsung has implemented this feature on one of its phone, if it does not plan to do so with a new Galaxy C device already. The camera does not protrude, and more importantly, the fingerprint scanner is now conveniently placed below the camera. The speakers arrangement is also interesting, as there is a speaker at the bottom, and one below the screen. Overall, this design seems a bit more mature, and it takes us back to the time of wider devices like Note 2 and 3.

Note 8 render: Another beautiful design

This is yet another beautiful Note 8 render. Hopefully when the Korean company announces the next Note, it will be able to capture us all. What features do you want on the new Note 8?

Samsung Z4 leak: front flash, S-Bike mode

Samsung has been on a roll recently, enjoying its success with the release of the Galaxy S8 & S8+ duo. The Korean giant has also been working on a new phone running Tizen OS, the Z4. Now, we have some Samsung Z4 leak!

Samsung Z4 leak

Samsung Z4 leak: front flash, S-Bike mode

Samsung has released smartphones with its own developed OS Tizen before, called the Z series. The newest member going to join the roster will be the new Samsung Z4. This phone has already received certification from the FCC in the US, as well as a Wifi certification. Now, some Samsung Z4 leak has happened: recently, a user manual, seemingly belonging to the Z4, has leaked online. This is a manual for the phone with model number SM-Z400. The manual did give us a look at Samsung Z4’s specs, as well as its design, and some features.

This Samsung Z4 leak was shared by Roland Quandt, a popular leakster. The manual mentioned two models of the Z4, SM-Z400Y and SM-Z400F/DS (the dual-SIM version). At first glance, the Samsung Z4’s design resembles much of the Z2, which was released last year by Samsung. However, there is one notable aspect: a front flash next to the selfie camera. This would be the first instance of a selfie flash for the Z series. Other than that, there were almost no noticeable changes.

Samsung Z4 leak

As for Samsung Z4 specs and features, it is revealed that the phone will come with S-Bike mode out of the box. However, its availability will depend on the region it is used in, and also the service provider. However, when the Z2 was launched in India, S-Bike was working without problems, we can assume that the variant with S-Bike will be launched in India as well. Other notable specs include a removable 2,050mAh battery, USB 3.0 port, with features like 4G LTE and dual-SIM.

Samsung Z4 leak: A decent phone

With this Samsung Z4 leak, we can see that Samsung is still pushing its own self-developed OS Tizen with decent phone. hopefully this phone will surprise us. What do you think of the Samsung Z4?

Galaxy Note 8 render is incredible!

Galaxy Note 8 has been released already, and it has enjoyed some success so far. Now, there have been talks about the Note 8 already. Today, let’s meet a beautiful Galaxy Note 8 render!

Galaxy Note 8 render

Galaxy Note 8 render is incredible!

Samsung Galaxy S8 has been the main topic for discussions for a while. It is no surprise, though, because it truly is one amazing flagship smartphone. The preorder of this phone has been the highest ever in Samsung’s history. With the success of S8, there are talks that Samsung has already started working on the next big phone. It is the successor of the ill-fated Note 7 (which is expected to make a return soon under a different name), the Galaxy Note 8. Nothing has been shown yet, but there is one Galaxy Note 8 render which has captured our attention!

The designer of this concept is none other than DBS Designing. This team has already developed an incredible iPhone 8 render before, and now it is time for them to do one for the Galaxy Note 8. Many people are not happy with the way the fingerprint scanner was placed on the Galaxy S8, but that has changed with this phone. The scanner is now right under the dual camera at the back, in a more comfortable position. This handset also has a 6.4″ QHD+ display, and two curved edges to the side of the almost bezel-less screen.

It is expected that this phone would be waterproof. Other Galaxy Note 8 specs include 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. As always, there will be a S Pen going along with this phone. The pen would have some nice extra commands with the Note, as well as being rotatable when putting in the pen space of the Note. There will also be an iris scanner, and finally fast charging capability to go with it, one feature seen in recent Samsung flagships.

Galaxy Note 8 render: Beautifully done!

This Galaxy Note 8 render is truly incredible. Hopefully, when Samsung reveals more about the next Note, it will be as good as this. Are you looking forward to the next Note?

Why Samsung Galaxy S8+ will beat its brother S8?

Samsung has just made a big hit to the smartphone market with its two giant S8 and S8+. The Galaxy S8+ is expected to sell more than its smaller brother. Here are the reasons…

Galaxy S8+

Samsung Galaxy S8+ to sell more than the S8?

Smartphones with touchscreens have conquered the mobile market over feature phones. The trend now is that they are getting bigger and bigger. Then we end up having a great line of large-screen devices or phablets. Buyers want their phones to have larger screens for multiple features and functions. While Apple is slowly making bigger iPhones, Samsung takes the lead to release massive-screen phones. Although large, the Galaxy S8 is predicted to get weaker sales than its bigger brother S8+. Let’s see what makes Samsung Galaxy S8+ more favorable!

First of all, in terms of display, there is nothing different between the two flagships except for their size. Both features Super AMOLED Infinity Displays with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. The S8 sports a 5.8-inch screen while the S8+ has a 6.2-inch display. Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ displays have been rated as the best of all. Besides the size, the only difference is their battery life. Samsung S8 and S8+ are fueled by 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries respectively. So what is likely to make the S8+ more popular?

Galaxy S8+

Recently, Yuanta Securities Korea has reported the potential sales of two Samsung flagships. According to that, the Galaxy S8+ is expected to outsell the S8. By the end of this year, there will be more than 27.1 million S8+ units sold, which comprises 53.9% of the total sales of both. The Korean Securities firm points out several reasons for this higher demand. First of all, “larger screens are better for media consumption and mobile gaming”. Next, there will be a stronger variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM for the S8+ in Korea and China. This is more ideal when using the DeX mobile-to-PC transition tool.

Samsung Galaxy S8+ will do better than the S6 and S7 Edge?

If Yuanta Securities Korea is right, this will not be the first time Samsung observed a higher sale for its larger phones. The Galaxy S6 Edge and S7 Edge both outsell their smaller brothers as a historical fact. Do you think Galaxy S8+ will get more people to buy than the S8?

Galaxy S8 Red Tint: How to fix it

Samsung Galaxy S8 has been launched recently, and it has received numerous praises. However, right after that, some people experience the Galaxy S8 Red Tint display problem. Here’s how to fix it!

galaxy s8 red tint

Galaxy S8 Red Tint: How to fix it

Since launch, there are many images of Galaxy S8 Red Tint display problem surfacing online. This is an unfortunate event for the new Samsung devices, which has just been launched recently. Responding to the problem, the company has made a statement about the problem. Samsung stressed that the problem is not the result of poor quality of the phones, and also provided a way to fix it. In the event that the issue is still not fixed after following the instructions, users can bring the device to Samsung customer service for further assistance.

The issue first came to light on April 17, the launch date of the S8/S8+ duo in its home country, South Korea. Some users posted images of the red-tinted screen of the galaxy S8 devices online. Since then, Samsung has revealed the way to fix the problem, and also provide additional support, so that did not seem like a big problem. However, some speculated that it may be a manufacturing error concerning faulty chips, causing the failure of the GPU. Others thought that the 18.5:9 ratio on the screen is the main culprit.

galaxy s8 red tint

Anyway, if you happen to have the Galaxy S8 Red Tint problem, just do the following to fix the issue. In order to get rid of the annoying red tint, you just need to adjust the White Point and Color Balance options in the Display Settings. The settings allow users to make the display reddish or bluish. Also, the Night Shift Blue Light Filter option may also be the cause of your screen looking red! The directory to go through is Settings > Display > Screen Mode > Color Balance.

Galaxy S8 Red Tint issue: Not a big problem

For now, only some rare cases have encountered this Galaxy S8 Red Tint problem. It is unlikely a widespread problem, so it is highly unlikely that your new S8/S8+ is affected. If it does, follow the steps above to fix it.

HTC U beast to have IP57 certification, dual-SIM

We have already written some nice articles about this phone called the U model, the HTC U beast will be the best ever manufactured by the company. Read the full article for more details.

HTC U beast

HTC U beast to have IP57 certification?

The HTC U beast is a phone that the company is expecting to strengthen its position in the smartphone industry. HTC offers great smartphones with excellent features, but the problem is that people have been complaining so much that its devices are so costly. Let us tell you a little bit about e of its smartphones that recently launched ( HTC U-Play and HTC U Ultra). These phones were launched since January 2017, the U Ultra seems to be more premium as it comes with a 4GB RAM, 3000mAH battery and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat).

Why we said this, it’s because of its cost, the HTC U Ultra price starts from Rs. 59,990 in India, and it can be more than this for the bigger storage variant. The phone only offers a 64GB and 128GB variants with an expandable storage of 256GB via microSD. We hope the HTC U beast comes cheap because other competitors like Nokia and Xiaomi are manufacturing crazy phones with a very affordable price. For the HTC U specs, there will be waterproof (IP57) rating, this means that the phone will resist both dust and water.

HTC U beast

With this technology, you can let your phone take a good bath for 30 minutes, haha, so nice. The company has also decided to remove the 3.5mm headset jack from this device too, following a similar move for the U Ultra. It will have a screen size of 5.5-inch and powered by an SDN 835. The HTC U cameras will sport a 12MP primary and 16MP secondary shooter. The phone will run on Android 7.1, we don’t know yet the battery capacity it will offer.

HTC U beast: Price and availability?

The HTC U price is not also revealed yet, let’s all hope the company says something about this soon. The U is expected to become official by the end of this month.
