The Galaxy S8 Oreo update is in full swing, with more devices around the world being treated to Android 8.0 as we speak. Samsung fixed whatever went wrong with the original Oreo release for the handset, and things are moving along. Samsung says in its statement notes that specific Samsung apps, including Pay, Internet, Notes, and Email, should be updated individually before updating the operating system, and advises users to back up personal data before performing the update.

In Canada, the company published a new Oreo update notice, which happens to have more devices than the previous ones that listed on our source website. Also, there are some differences in the dates (that was expected with staged rollouts). Below are the phones scheduled for an Android 8.0 Oreo update and the planned release dates. Again, this is from Canada, so some of these have already been installed in other regions.
