Samsung Galaxy A6 launch confirmed
A few days ago, Geekbench spotted the SM-A600FN and SM-A605G on their website. These two phones can be the Samsung Galaxy A6 and its Plus version if following Samsung’s typical naming convention. Recently, the launch markets for these midrange phones have been confirmed. They are Europe, Russia, and the Middle East. For Samsung Galaxy A6 specs, it runs on an Exynos 7870 chipset while the A6+ gets power from a Snapdragon 625.
On top of that, the Galaxy A6 is likely to have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the Plus variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. In terms of Geekbench 4 score, the Galaxy A6 Plus scored a multi-core result of 3469. This result is slightly lower than that of its base model with multi-core score at 3605. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A6 Plus single-core test produced a score of 739, which is higher than the Galaxy A6’s single-core score at 726.
In terms of the display, the Samsung phone is going to feature a 5.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1280 pixels. For the operating system, both the Galaxy A6 and its Plus variant will run UI 9.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. Besides, Samsung Galaxy A6 camera can equip a 12MP lens with the autofocus system coming with an 8MP selfie snapper. In addition, the Samsung device possibly owns a 3500 MHz battery.
