Huawei Honor 7i camera is an eye candy to selfie lovers because of its convenience. As we all know, not many phones have high quality front camera, and the front camera sensor does not do as well as its rear. Therefore, with this camera module, one can easily use the main camera for selfies. You do not even have to turn the phone around, just flip the module to change your mode. Huawei even claims that this kind of module is very long lasting, up to 2 years of use.
Moreover, following the trend of recent smart phones, Huawei Honor 7i also sports a fingerprint sensor on the side. The fingerprint sensor is the smallest size that can be on a smart phone, said Huawei. The sensor can also act as a camera button.
Huawei Honor 7i is just announced in China at around $250, so we do not know when it will be available. However, considering how Huawei Honor 7 is, we guess Huawei Honor 7i price in the Philippines will be around PHP 12k or slightly higher.

Huawei Kirin 950 beats Samsung Exynos 7420 & tops benchmark with 6096 points
Nowadays, many people will stick with Samsung Exynos for the most powerful chipset series. Even Qualcomm Snapdragon has a hard time persuading users to believe they have solved the heating issues on their chipset. However, as mobile manufacturers recently turn to the trend of producing chipsets on their own, more and more prominent chipsets come to the market. Most notably, Huawei Kirin 950, which beats Samsung Galaxy Note 5’s Exynos 7420 on every benchmark tests, would become the next best chipset.
Huawei Kirin 950 is now the most powerful chipset, beating the favorable Exynos 7420.
Huawei Kirin 950 full specs leak on benchmark
Under the Geekbench benchmark test, Huawei Kirin 950 has a quad core Cortex –A72 with 2.4Ghz clockspeed & quad core Cortex-A57. Moreover, Huawei Kirin 950 also supports RAM LPDDR4 & camera up to 42MP. It seems if we have Kirin 950 in our phone, our camera can be a superb photoshooter.
Kirin 950 will support camera up to 42MP
Additionally, the benchmark test also reveals scores for single core and multitasking on this chipset. It scores 1909 points for single core test and 6096 points for multitasking test. This is the proof that Kirin is the top chipset right now. Even Exynos 7420 only scores 1486 points on single and 4970 points on multitasking test.
Samsung Galaxy S6 also sports the powerful Exynos 7420
This time of the year seems to be a mad competition between chipsets, with Xiaomi’s new chipset, Mediatek Helio X30, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, and even the next Apple chip will be coming to the market. Which chipset will be the best? The answer does not lie in the chipset itself, but the phone it will be equipped in. If the phone has a well-rounded customization with its specs, then the chipset will win. If the phone is just another normal device, the chipset will not save anything. Therefore, until now nothing can really be said yet.
Though this chipset is not released yet, we hope there will be a generation of chipsets that cost low and performs significantly. Moreover, it would be marvelous if more and more great devices such as Asus Zenfone 2 and its rivals to come to the market.
Meanwhile, you can check out which phones sport the (in)famous Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 here.

Moreover, the renders show that Huawei Nexus 6 will sport a rear fingerprint scanner like what we found on LG Nexus 5. It seems these Nexus 2015 versions will bring us a more secured experience.

Huawei to be in the world’s top ten with amazing sales , ranking 3rd after H1 this year
Huawei – the Chinese popular brand name – seems to be doing well with its sale for H1 this year. Like other companies from the same country, their main targets are users who want affordable but nice looking smart phones with great specs. This is mainly the reason why the Chinese company is doing well.
3rd largest mobile phone company will be Huawei ?
Huawei Honor 7 – the latest flagship released
Huawei Honor 4A – the new addition to the Honor family.
As we all know, Honor series, most notable Huawei Honor 7 and recently, Honor 4A, are gaining a lot of fame for this manufacturer. The company reports to have sold as many as 48.2 millions of devices for only the first half of 2015. The number is amazing, and many spectaculate that Huawei can almost become the world’s 3rd largerst mobile company according to how they sell.
48.2 million devices sold means that Huawei sells 85% more than last year, which is a great step for this company’s revenue. $28.3 billion of revenue is accumulated, and more is coming from the second half of 2015, it means it can do much more.
Although other Chinese companies such as Lenovo still has not released their sales info yet, we still can say that this year is a big year for Huawei and Chinese names. The 3rd spot on the world’s market, the 3rd leading mobile company, whatever it belongs to, it belongs to a Chinese name.

Honor 4C hands-on: one hell of good offer for a 7K flagship
Honor 4C is a budget flagship from Huawei with very nice specs and good looking design for the sub PHP 7K price tag. In the time where we can find flagship smartphones everywhere but not all will perform well after a while, we want to give you a closer look in to the devices we think can be good deal for their money. And let’s start with this Honor 4C.
Huawei Honor 4C is available in Philippines for less than 7K
The first impression every user can have from a smartphone is its design. To be very fair, Honor 4C does not look really special compared to others mid-range handsets. It has quite a thick body and looks a bit bulky regards of its real size. However, the Honor 4C feels safe and stable in the hand, which makes it worth considered.
With 5” and 720 IPS display, the Honor 4C screen resolution is quite good for its price range. Real experience shows that the colors displayed on the screen is mild and pretty, which goes well with public demand.
In terms of specs, Honor 4C features octa-core with Kirin 620 processor from Hisilicon – the baby company of Huawei – specialized in producing chip sets for smartphone producers. Although Hisilicon is not as well known as MediaTek that many other budget flagships packs, the processor works quite well under the speed of 1.2GHZ and 64 bit bases.
With dual SIM 3G, 2GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage (SD card slot supported also), hands-on testing shows that the Honor 4C runs quite smoothly. The device is powered by 2,550mAH. This is far away from 4000 mAH in flagships like Lenovo K80 but is above average for a sub PHP 7k smartphone.
Huawei Honor 4C cameras are pretty nice too. The rear camera features 13MP with Sony BSI CMOS and 88 degree wide lens with 5MP resolution for selfie shooter.

Meizu MX5 vs Huawei Honor 7: Fight of hottest flagships in 2015
Meizu MX5 vs Huawei Honor 7 are 2 of the hottest babes in the smartphone market nowadays. Both are receiving positive comments and feed backs from users and critics over the internet. With many similarities in terms of specs and are still very different from each other, we think this comparison between Meizu MX5 vs Huawei Honor 7 will give you a clearer picture of both devices.
First off, let’s talk about Meizu MX5 vs Huawei Honor 7 and what they have in common. Both of them were debuted on June 30, 2015. Both of them feature FHD and 3GB RAM. And both of them are from well-known smartphone brands in China: Meizu and Huawei.
Now lets take look at some main differences between Meizu MX5 and Huawei Honor 7:
Meizu MX5 vs Huawei Honor 7: Design and display screen
Both device come with premium design, saying full-alloy bodies. But visually, they look obviously different since the MX5 has more rounded rears than its counterpart. And although the Huawei Honor 7 has a smaller display size (5.2” vs 5.5”), it is a bit thicker and heavier than the Meizu MX5. Apart from those things, the color options are not very different.
A bit more details about Meizu MX5 vs Huawei Honor 7 display. Though they both have the same FHD display, Honor 7 comes with a higher pixel density: 424ppi vs 401ppi of MX5. Yet, it does not turn out that this Meizu phone will lose to Huawei, for MX5 features a AMOLED panel, which will help render colors better than the IPS panel display on the Honor friend.
Meizu MX5 vs Huawei Honor 7 Cameras
Chinese smartphones are well known for their great camera sensors even on budget phones. This pairs is not an exception either. Meizu MX5 vs Huawei Honor 7 cameras feature 20.7MP vs 20MP respectively. However, Honor 7 boasts a brighter lens with f/2.0 aperture, protected by sapphire glass compared to the MX5’s f/2.2 lens, protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the other hand, the MX5 comes with a faster laser auto-focus than the phase detection auto-focus technology found in Honor 7.
For those who love taking selfies, perhaps Honor 7 would be a better choice since it has a more powerful 8-megapixel selfie snapper; MX5 has only 5-megapixel sensor. Anyhow, the gap between the two is not such a big deal at all.
Meizu MX5 vs Huawei Honor 7: Prices
Meizu MX5 Philippines is available with the 16GB variants for PHP 17K in Grey and White color options. Meanwhile, the 16GB Huawei Honor 7 Philippines is priced at PHP 20K.
Overall, it is easy to see that Huawei Honor 7 is a bit more expensive than the Meizu MX5.
