Previously, Huawei has trademarked the Huawei P20 name in the US. As a result, many fans think that this Chinese brand is going to release the Huawei P20 as the successor of the P10. According to the video teaser, the new fast charge solution refills the battery capacity to 48% (for 10 hours of calling). The process lasts for only five minute, which is 10 times faster than normal charging.

According to our sources, the new fast-charge tech comes from Huawei’s Watt Lab. In addition, the Huawei’s Watt Lab technicians put their efforts to change the molecular structure of anode materials. Moreover, they take advantage of both physical and chemical lithium ion capacity during the process. As a result, the devices achieve high charging efficiency without sacrificing battery life.

As far as it concerns, the new fast-charge technology will be applicable to smartphones, mobile power supply, computer and electric vehicles. However, they require to subdividing the battery to charge in an external device instead of charging inside the device. Since most of the smartphones today own non-removable juice box, we expect to see how Huawei fixes that problem or removable batteries might make a comeback.

Recently, we heard about Huawei’s plan to enter the US market with their latest flagship, Huawei Mate 10 Pro. However, a deal collapse between this Huawei and AT&T puts a hold on this partnership. One of the negative results was that Huawei fans wouldn’t be able to see the new Mate 10 Pro or any future Huawei phones on carrier contract deal. Just last week, Huawei and AT&T officially cancelled the agreement. So what is the reason?

In details, there is an entire bill with the name H. R. 4747 – “Defending U.S. Government Communications Act”. Moreover, this statement aims to ban all US branches of the government from using carriers and service providers that use hardware or any platforms of Huawei and ZTE. Notably, the law will also blacklist any telecommunications equipment produced by Huawei Technologies Company or ZTE Corporation.

Texas-based Republican House member Michael Conaway raised this statement. He is currently heading the investigation into Russia’s alleged interference in the US election. According to US government, Huawei with ZTE and others are: “directly subject to direction by the Chinese Communist Party…”. Furthermore, they also “shared with the Chinese state intimate and extensive knowledge of foreign telecommunications systems.” On the other hand, the US Commerce Department is currently investigating Huawei’s dealings in Syria, Cuba, Iran and Sudan. Previously, ZTE has received the fined over $1 last year after violating U.S.-Iran sanctions by shipping product from the U.S. to Iran and then denying it in front of federal investigators.

Huawei: The first brand to roll out 5G phones in India?

Peter Zhai, President, Huawei India Consumer Business Group, has talked about their plans and shared that they are working on new categories of devices and services. The company said Huawei would not participate in manufacturing low-end phones in the Indian market. “Huawei has a long-term plan in terms of what we can do in the next ten years.” and “We are not focused on short-term market gains, but long-term plans and a variety of partnerships and consumers in the long term.”

According to the interview of Peter Zhai, Huawei will be the first brand to roll out 5G phone and infrastructure in India if the 5G network is ready. Moreover, if 5G is available, this Chinese manufacturer will launch devices with the high-end specs. “Huawei will not play in the low-cost 4G feature phones segment. When people start adopting data, they upgrade their phones and want more user-friendly experience. We see an opportunity there.”

These handsets are rumoured to be coming in the Quarter 2 of 2018.

For the final months, this Chinese brand is going to unveil a Huawei A2 fitness band with Huawei 360 Camera. Furthermore, there will also be a brand new Huawei Scale accessories and Huawei B618 wireless router. Alongside the three P series handsets, Huawei is going to announce another Honor phone, with Huawei B525 (probably another router). In terms of design, both the Nokia 8 and the Huawei P10 Plus look amazing! All you need is to take a look to realize these devices are in their serious games. There are a few differences, however: the Nokia 8 has an overall smaller display, with a 5.3 inch IPS touchscreen. On the other hand, Huawei P10 Plus has a larger display with a 5.5 inch IPS NEO LCD screen. Both of them sport some pretty solid resolutions, which is QHD by the way. The Nokia 8’s slightly smaller screen size does mean it wins here with a slightly higher 554 pixels per inch, versus the 540 that the Huawei P10 Plus sports.

Both of these smart devices run on some solid specs under the hood, with the Nokia 8 sporting 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, the Huawei P10 Plus takes the lead if you’re getting their L29 version instead of their L09 version. The reason: L09 version is identical to the Nokia 8 here. Meanwhile, L29 version actually sports 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both of the phones have tons of sensors. I would vote for Nokia 8 in this aspect, with extra sensors such as a heart rate sensor embedded into the device! We’re super curious to give that one a try.

Finally, let’s end this comparison with our favorite bit, the cameras showdown. If you’re a super user of social media, you’re going to have a close look at this part of the comparison!!! You can see that the Nokia 8 is being a bit left behind in this department… It does have a completely respectable duo of 13MP cameras for the main camera, with one in RGB and one in Mono, as well a single 13MP camera for the front. The Huawei P10 Plus, however, has a dual 20MP and 12MP camera for the main, and an 8MP camera for selfies. Tough choice to make!!

Nokia 8 vs Huawei P10 Plus: same price, which is your vote?

It’s hard to say for sure which of the two is the better device. Both Nokia 8 and Huawei P10 Plus have similar specs, and look great!! However, you should keep in mind that the Nokia 8 did cost less on release. The Nokia 8 is around Rs 39, 434 (which is around $612), whereas the Huawei P10 Plus costs Rs 43,235 (which is around $671). Recently, Huawei has just launched the new Honor View through an event in the UK. Huawei introduced this handset as the brother of their flagship smartphone – Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Notably, the “View” in the full name stands for the thin bezel screen it has. In terms of the display, Huawei Honor View 10 specs feature a 5.99-inch IPS LCD (1080 x 2160 pixels). Furthermore, this Huawei handset is going to run on the latest Android 8.0 (Oreo) mixed up with EMUI 8.0.

Under the hood, Huawei Honor View 10 comes with the Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset, Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53). The best-selling smartphone brands in Q3 2017: SAMSUNG!

Samsung – continues to dominate the worldwide smartphone market with 83.3 million units. They has a significant increase of 9.5% in compared to Q3 2016. Samsung archived this great number thanks to the good performances of their flagships devices, especially the release of Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Coming closely at the second place is undoubtedly Samsung’s longtime rival, Apple! During Quarter 3 of 2017, Apple’s smartphone shipments increased to 46.7 million units, due to the release of their next iPhone generation – iPhone 8.

Furthermore, the last three smartphone brands on this list are all Chinese manufacturers. Placing third on our list today is Huawei with 39.1 million units. Previously, Huawei has actively launched many news smartphones globally. They also participated in the online festival sales and expanded their stores. Oppo takes the fourth place today, with 30.7 million smartphones. Their the R11 (as well as the R11 Plus) are this brand’s most popular flagships in China.

Finally, Xiaomi takes their step to the fifth position, thanks to the total of 27.6 million shipments during this period. A big part of Xiaomi’s consumers come from India. All thanks to their discount program as well as the opening of new Mi Stores. Mainly, Xiaomi has sold four million smartphones in a month in India!
