Sony Xperia XZs launched in India: SND 820, 19MP main cam
Today marks the day that Sony officially put the Xperia XZs on sale in India. This phone was announced at the MWC 2017 last month, where other smartphones of Sony were also introduced to the world. This phone is a significant upgrade to the Xperia XZ launched last year. That’s right, Sony Xperia XZs offers a lot of interesting features, most notably the new memory sensor that allows its camera to shoot 960fps slo-mo videos.
Like in places where the phone has already been on sale, there are three available color options to choose from: Matte Black, Ice Blue, and Warm Silver. For this Indian launch, sales of the phone will be primarily offline. The Sony Xperia XZs this time has an IP68 certification, and PS4 remote play feature. While it is true that the phone has not changed much in terms of design, many still consider the phone premium looking, just like Samsung or LG flagships.
Sony Xperia XZs specs are quite impressive as well. The phone comes with a 5.2″ display, with all-new Sony display tech: TRILUMINOUS. As for the main attraction, the main camera has a 19MP lens, with new Exmos RS sensor allowing taking 960fps slo-mo videos. There is a 13MP camera at the front. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, with 4GB RAM. There are 32 or 64GB of storage, expandable by up to 256GB. There is a 2,900mAh battery, and the phone comes with Android 7.1.1 out of the box. Overall they are very promising specs.
