Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium Chinese variant
We have never seen any smartphone that takes this long to debut. Typically, it’s not a great idea to launch a product months long after the first announcement. But Sony strategy seems to go otherwise. Previously, the company unveiled the Premium flagship in April, but availability isn’t going to start before the end of this month. And the launch event for the Sony phone in China suggests that the wait in local markets will be even longer, as pre-orders will only open starting from July 2.

On top of that, the handset gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, along with 6GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Moreover, there is a MicroSD card that can expand the storage up to 400GB. Next, Sony battery packs a non-removable 3400mAh juice box and Quick Charge 3.0 charge.
In terms of the optics department, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium Chinese variant camera system packs a dual 19MP (f/1.8) + 12MP B/W (f/1.6) rear sensor. Meanwhile, the front-facing lens sports a 13MP shooter (f/2.0). In addition, this phone uses a black and white dual-camera solution and Moto Eye colour. Under the hood, the Xperia XZ2 Premium runs on Android 8.0 Oreo as the operating system.
