Sony Xperia X1 smartphone: direct rival to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

Sony Xperia X is a brand new series of the company this year, so we hope to see more products besides Xperia X, XA and X Performance. Perhaps the following Sony Xperia X1 is a very potential one…

Sony Xperia X1 – Wonderful design and specs

Sony released first 3 members of their new series called Sony Xperia X not long ago, and also claimed to end the Xperia Z era. In fact, the X smartphones look more beautiful and powerful, so many people really hope to see the next models soon. Lately, we have been able to spot one named Sony Xperia X1 by Babak Soren, a designer. Apparently, it is a device coming with absolutely rounded edges, somehow reminding us of Samsung Galaxy S7 edge style.

Moreover, the handset sports a dual speaker, a metallic back, and a dual main camera. Well, it seems like this X1 wants to take all the most modern features for smartphones nowadays and becomes an awesome flagship this year. However, to do that, it also needs a strong hardware to perform all kinds of tasks, right?! If the machine comes true, Sony Xperia X1 specs should offer an iris scanner, a 5.5-inch 2K display, a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM, and 128GB of expandable ROM.

As a Sony smartphone, of course, the X1 will surely be equipped with IP68 rating for being dust and water resistant over 1.5 meters and 30 minutes, and a remarkable camera combo consisting of a 23MP rear plus 13MP front-facing sensors. Under the hood, there should be Android 6.0.2 Marshmallow OS and a 3,000mAh battery supporting Fast charging tech on board to fuel the whole device.

Sony Xperia X1  price and availability

Sony Xperia X, XA, and X Performance were just launched in February, so we guess the manufacturer will wait a bit more before announcing a new flagship smartphone. Then, hopefully a great handset like Sony Xperia X1 will get introduced soon. Say, maybe around the Q3 of 2016 is perfect. As for Sony Xperia X1 price, with such an elegant appearance and excellent specifications, it can cost $800 or so. What do you think?
