Good news for Sony fans out there! The company has released two new devices in India, including the Sony Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus. These phones have standard specs of mid-range phones. Read the article below to learn more.
Sony Xperia R1/R1 Plus specs: Snapdragon 430
These two smartphones are nearly identical in terms of specifications. The Sony Xperia R1 and R1 Plus specs start with a a 5.2-inch, TFT LCD with the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. For the OS, both of the new devices runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. However, don’t worry, because the company has promised that these two handsets are going to receive the Android Oreo update in the future. Both phones will be available in Black and Silver colors.
Next, both device receives power from the Snapdragon 430 chipset. Even though the Sony Xperia R1 and R1 Plus specs are almost identical, there are still some differences. First of all, the R1 model comes with 2GB RAM, whereas the R1 Plus version packs 3GB RAM under the hood. Moreover, in terms of memory, the R1 device offers a modest 16GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the R1 Plus variant provides a bigger 32GB ROM. Additionally, both phones support the microSD card slot for expansion purpose.
Speaking of the photography department, the Sony Xperia R1 and R1 plus camera systems are also the same. Both handsets sports a 13MP Exmor Sony sensor with autofocus and LED flash at the back of the phones. In addition to the rear camera, these two smartphones also feature an 8MP front shooter for selfies. Last but not least, both Sony Xperia R1 and R1 Plus batteries measure 2620 mAh.
