GeekBench spotted Sony Mysterious Phone with Snapdragon 855 chipset!

According to Japanese media site Sumahoinfo, a new Sony mysterious machine just showed up on GeekBench. The new model is name coded H8526. Based on Sony’s previous naming convention, this handset may be part of their next generation flagships – the Xperia XZ3 lineup. In details, in the past, the XZ2 series models got the name H81XX~H83XX. Therefore, the Sony model coded H84XX could be the Sony Xperia XZ3, meanwhile, the H85XX might be the Sony XZ3 Pro or Premium.

In terms of Geekbench score, the new machine gets a single-core score of 3033 points. Whereas, the multi-core score is 10,992 points. The figure is 30% higher than Qualcomm’s best current processor, the Snapdragon 845. As a result, we come to the question whether this is Qualcomm’s next high-end processor, the Snapdragon 855. Besides, the handset may come along with 8GB of RAM, which will possibly make the best-specification smartphone ever launched to the market in the future.
