Snapdragon 830: 8GB RAM and power saving
Snapdragon 830 has just appeared in an India website with the code name of MSM8898. This new chipset is said to come with 10nm technology and support 8GB RAM.
Snapdragon 830: 10nm chip with 8GB RAM
Snapdragon 821 is now the latest chipset of Qualcomm. This SoC is also one of the best chipsets in the market. Many flagships of some popular brands are already equipped with Snapdragon 821. LeEco Le Pro 3, Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and Google Pixel XL are some examples. Although Snapdragon 821 was just released a few months ago, it’s now said that Snapdragon 830 will come out soon.
Lately, Snapdragon 830 has just shown on Zauba (an Indian company providing import/export info). The company has just posted on their website an import list where Snapdragon 830 comes with the code name of MSM8998. According to the website, this chipset was imported into India from America. This SoC is the same with the one used in a prototype with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.
According to some sources, Snapdragon 830 is said to use 10nm technology with 200 Kryo cores. It is also believed to support 8GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. Moreover, SND 830 will also be more power saving. Samsung is reported to be the exclusive company to manufacture this new Snapdragon generation.
Snapdragon 830: big rival to A10X SoC
Snapdragon 821 brings devices a fast, smooth, and strong performance. So, with the SND 830, the performance is gonna be so much more than that. This chipset will be the tough rival to A10X SoC from Apple which is said to be worked on. So, which phone will be the first device to have this chipset? Galaxy S8 from Samsung? According to some recent leaks, S8 is believed to be the first one to used this chipset, along with Exynos 8895.
