Good news for Meizu fans! This Chinese brand is going to launch not one, not two, but six Meizu handsets in the upcoming year. This list includes the Meizu 15 Plus with impressive specs like the tri-bezel-less design, 6GB RAM. Read more about them below!
Six Meizu handsets: what’s to expect?!
For this week, Chinese media has released the news about a new Meizu M6S handset. Additionally, this Meizu smartphone was supposed to come out this week. However, due to an issue with its camera, Meizu has to postpone the launch until 2018. With this, we will be having a total of six new Meizu handsets coming out from January to June 2018. The six Meizu handsets include the Meizu M6S, Meizu M7, and M7 Note… Additionally, there are going to be two distinctive flagships – Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus.
Regarding the names, the Duo Meizu 15 launch as the celebration of this brand 15th anniversary. For the display, Meizu 15 specs sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen. On the other hand, Meizu 15 Plus specs include a 6-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Both displays have the same resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and 16:9 ratio. Under the hood, both Meizu handsets are going to have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Moreover, both Meizu flagships have Android 8.0 Oreo.
For Meizu 15, it’s going to have 4GB/6GB RAM with two ROM versions: 64GB or 128GB. Regarding the Meizu 15 Plus, this handset features 6GB RAM and 256GB RAM (no additional card slot). In terms of the juice box, Meizu 15 will have a non-removable Li-Ion 3500mAh battery. Meanwhile, Meizu 15 Plus comes with a bigger 3800mAh juice box.
Meizu 15 Plus release date and price
As mentioned above, both Meizu 15 release date falls around the Spring next year, probably February or March. For the price tag, Meizu 15 price is $453 (~¥ 2,999/Rs, 29,152).
