In case that you have never heard, Sirin Labs is a Switzerland-based startup that recently entered into the partnership with FIH (Foxconn International Holding). Moreover, they plan to carry out the manufacturing of a blockchain-powered phone. Based on the latest updates, the company has unveiled a blockchain-powered smartphone dubbed Finney. According to our sources, Huawei was in talks with the company to develop a ‘blockchain-ready’ smartphone earlier this year.
On the other hand, more interesting are the Finney’s in-display fingerprint sensor and its built-in ‘cold-storage’ crypto wallet. Moreover, the handset runs Android 8.1 OS with Sirin OS on top. Furthermore, the handset shares a 3000mAh battery. On the other hand, the battery box supports fast-charging of 50% in 30 minutes and full box in 2 hours. Under the hood, the Sirin beast sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, alongside 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. On the imaging front, Sirin Finney camera will pack a 12MP with f/1.8 lens and ultra-fast laser autofocus. Meanwhile, there would be an 8MP coming with a f/2.2 aperture with an 85-degree angle up front.
