After Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Fold, they reportedly continued to work on a new variant of their W lineup. In case you didn’t know, Samsung’s W series has always been a China-exclusive product line with dual screens and clamshell design. However, this year’s model is going to debut with a new name. Instead of launching the successor of the Samsung W2021 as W2022, the phone is going to arrive with the new identity Samsung W20 5G.
In detail, let’s move on to the display! The Samsung smartphone specs pack a large 7.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED with a resolution of 2300 x 3152 pixels. Moreover, in the hardware department, the Samsung phone is going to take power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset with the Adreno 640 GPU. Besides, as for the storage, the Samsung device can sport massive 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no mention of a microSD card or card slot.
How about the optics department? The Samsung W20 5G camera rocks a triple camera. On the back, this phone includes a 24MP ultra-wide lens (f/2.2), a 12MP wide-angle lens (f/2.4), a 12MP telephoto lens (f/2.4). Meanwhile, on the front, it has a 12MP + 8MP for selfies and video calling. How about the battery box? The Samsung monster keeps the lights on supporting a large 4500mAh juice box. Moreover, it also carries fast charging and wireless charging as well. On the other side, the foldable smartphone ships with Android 9.0 Pie as the operating system.

For now, the availability and pricing of Samsung W20 are yet to be unveiled officially. Hopefully, the company could launch it in the early 2020.
