Samsung new battery technology: What is it? How does it work?
Nowadays, smartphones have developed at an overwhelming speed. From small screen to bezel-less display, from swipe to unlock to fingerprint and Face ID, from charging for 5 hours to fast charging of half hour. The smartphone can be charged much quicker than it was possible a couple of years ago. But now, what if you can charge your phone within minutes? Samsung has an idea.
For an original battery, it usually takes an hour to charge. However, with Samsung new battery technology, smartphone users can charge a battery within 12 minutes. How does it work? Under the hood, Samsung’s researchers and scientists from Seoul National University have developed a ball made from Graphene, which is a single layer of carbon atoms. With this ball, it can advance battery technology.
According to Samsung, the new battery can charge five-time faster than current lithium-ion cells. That means you can get a full charge on your smartphone in less than thirty minutes. As a result, those benefits make it the ideal material for fast charge technology. Additionally, the material also maintains the stable temperatures required for a long-lasting battery.
