Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy S9 is going to have the new SND 845 processor, while Huawei Honor 9 specs offer the current HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset. Galaxy S9 has either 6 or 8GB RAM, and Honor 9 has 6GB RAM. The Samsung flagship wins over the Huawei one. Galaxy S9 is also better in storage, as it offers 128GB ROM (+up to 256GB), while that of Honor 9 is only 64GB (+up to 256GB).

The Galaxy S9 battery is still unknown, but it should be similar to S8+, at 3500mAh. Honor 9 meanwhile has a 3100mAh battery. Outside, Galaxy S9 specs include a 5.8″ Super AMOLED screen with 2160×3840 resolution. Honor 9 only has a 5.15″ Full HD display, so Galaxy S9 again wins in this aspect. Huawei Honor 9 has Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Emotion UI, while Galaxy S9 has the new Android O as the OS upon release. Galaxy S9 shows better display and has a better OS here.

Now, we come to another aspect of this Samsung Galaxy S9 vs. Huawei Honor 9 battle, the camera. Galaxy S9 camera features dual 12MP lenses at the back of the phone. Honor 9 camera also has dual rear camera setup, but with 20 + 12MP lenses. The Samsung phone also has a 16MP secondary shooter at the front, while the Huawei one has an 8MP lens for selfies. Talking about photography, Honor 9 may be a bit better, but Samsung overtakes it in the selfie department.

Samsung Galaxy S9 price should be about Rs. 60,000, and Huawei Honor 9 price is about Rs. 24,999. Overall, Galaxy S9 seems a better phone, but Huawei Honor 9 is better for the price. What would you choose?
