Based on the latest updates, Samsung Galaxy S9 and its sibling, S9 Plus, the most awaited flagships is about to come out this year. In details, both flagships have tested on the latest Android Oreo beta and reveal to their fans some hidden features. So far, there are some upgrades for the primary camera’s setup to 12MP with apertures of f/1.5. Since it is the largest aperture ever used in a smartphone, it allows 120fps 4K video and low-light performance. While S9 Plus gets dual modules, Samsung Galaxy S9 specs include a single one.

Meanwhile, the most highlighted specs should be its “Intelligent Scanner”, a combination of iris scanner and facial recognition. In addition, the combination of two technologies gives better results (better accuracy and security) in either very low or bright light condition. Besides, the iris scanner is more highly secured than FaceID of Apple. However, using only 2D facial recognition may be not as secure as 3D mapping dot projector as used in Face ID. Meanwhile, there remains a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel.

According to our sources, another variant of these Samsung flagships with dual SIM card slot might show up. Dual SIM card is not something very new when the dual SIM phones are in Asian markets for a while. However, it is the first time they stand on Samsung German’s website, which is the first time to come in Europe markets.
