Samsung Galaxy S9 screen faces Dead Spot issue: what happened?
At the MWC 2018 event, Samsung has completely stolen the show with the presentation of their flagship duo Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. In term of the design, there is not much change in compared to their predecessor S8. However, the Galaxy S9 received many praises for their innovative camera setup. Notably, Samsung Galaxy S9 specs include a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus specs sport a larger 6.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with similar resolution. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus offer two processor variants: Exynos 9810/ Snapdragon 845. Regarding the storage, the Galaxy S9 comes with 4GB RAM, and the Galaxy S9 Plus provides 6GB RAM. Both Samsung Galaxy S9 duo includes different ROM options: 64GB/128GB/256GB. The handset’s memory is expandable up to 400GB.
Such a nice hardware display and equipment, we would think that Samsung has guaranteed the S9 series success. However, some Galax7 S9 and S9 Plus owners have now raised the complaint about their handsets. Mainly, they are facing a problem with Samsung Galaxy S9 screen. The devices fail to register the touch input. Furthermore, they also seem to be affected by “Deas Zone”. At first, the issue occurred in the Galaxy S9 Plus. Moreover, the problem is not disappearing after a hard reset. According to the complains, the Samsung Galaxy S9 screen is unresponsive in the bottom half, and for some, it was the other way around.
