Samsung Galaxy S9 benchmark test
According to our sources, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in the next few weeks with specs to be a common sight as 2018. Recently, the handset from leaked images just went through the Geekbench benchmark test with a Snapdragon 845 chipset under the hood. Besides, the hidden model number (SM-G965) gets 6GB of RAM inside and Android 8.0 pre-installed, which expects to be Samsung Galaxy S9.
The results showed a single-core score of 2378 and a multi-core score totally of 8132. Considering that back in December, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ went through the Geekbench test scoring a similar 2422 and 8351. Respectively, it certainly seems plausible that the results below are for the Galaxy S9. If it is accurate, Samsung Galaxy S9 specs may offer significantly better performance than any high-end Samsung devices available today.
For some markets, Samsung’s new Exynos chipset built on second-generation 10nm process replaces the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Meanwhile, Samsung’s best efforts with the Galaxy S9 still might not come anywhere close to measuring up to the iPhone X. However, they’re quite impressive as for the test results. While this is a pre-release Galaxy S9, the scores still place the phone among the best Android smartphones on the market right now.
