Samsung Galaxy S9 at CES 2018

Firstly, let’s get to know a bit about the CES 2018. CES is a global consumer electronics and consumer technology tradeshow that takes place every January in Las Vegas, Nevada. Previously, Samsung hasn’t released smartphones for the CES 2017, only TV and technology gadgets. On the contrary, this Korean giant is planning a big show for the CES 2018 next year. Notably, Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are the main highlights of the event!

According to the released information, two Samsung smartphones are going to have a new AI user interface, dubbed AiUX. If this prediction comes true, both Samsung handsets will be the next AI-powered smartphone, just after the latest Huawei Mate 10. Regarding the display, Samsung Galaxy S9 specs feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display, while Samsung Galaxy S9+ specs sport a 6.2-inch display. Both Samsung handsets displays are going to have a unique 90% screen-to-body ratio!

As mentioned before, both display bezels are going to be thinner than the previous generation with the famously curved edges and “Infinity Display.” Moreover, it appears that the Galaxy S9 will likely have a single camera at the back while Galaxy S9 Plus features a dual rear camera set up. Finally, both Samsung flagships are going to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and have the latest Android 8.0 Oreo as the OS.
