Samsung Galaxy S8: no 3.5mm jack, fingerprint embedded in display
One of the most controversial discuss about Galaxy S8 is its 3.5 mm headphone jack appearance. According to the latest leaked new, there will not be 3.5 jack in Samsung Galaxy S8. After Apple, Samsung tends to apply this innovation to their products. This technology is highly evaluated to help promote the wireless future era. It also free up space for additional components such as larger batteries or high quality cameras.
In addition, Galaxy S8 is expected to eliminate the physical Home button and the fingerprint scanner will be replaced with a finger recognition system built into the optical screen. The company will eliminate PenTile pixel layout to switch to the traditional RGB color range. This brings more detailed images on the screen while the resolution retains at Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels). Luckily, they don’t use 4K resolution display.
