Samsung Galaxy Note X: notch Infinity display, 8GB RAM and more!

In 2018, the notch screen has become one of the hottest trends of the year. In the first quarter of this year, many smartphone brands have jumped into the trendy design following Apple footsteps. In details, we have the Huawei P20 trio handsets, LG G7 ThinQ and recent Nokia X6. However, Apple’s long-term rival, Samsung, has been avoiding the trend until now. Today, designer Gurpreet Singh gives us a sneak peek of what a Samsung phone with notch display looks like.

In details, we can expect the first device to feature the new notch design belongs to the Samsung Galaxy Note series, probably the Note 10. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Note X can also arrive with the Face ID technology, something we haven’t seen Samsung equip their devices. On another hand, we can see that Samsung Galaxy Note X has a full-screen design. Overall, Samsung Galaxy Note X specs include an Exynos 9 processor with 8GB RAM.

Furthermore, the Samsung flagship is going to run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. As for the display, the Galaxy Note X is going to rock a bezel-less 6.4-inch Infinity Display (2960 x 1440 pixels). In term of the photography, Samsung Galaxy Note X camera has a dual Dual: 12MP (f/1.7, 26mm, 1/2.5″, 1.4 µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 12MP (f/2.4, 52mm, 1/3.6″, 1 µm, AF) primary setup. On the other hand, there will also be a 13MP selfie shooter. Regarding the battery, the Galaxy Note X likely has a non-removable Li-Ion 3300 mAh battery. Furthermore, this Samsung handset still uses a 3.5mm audio jack and rock a USB Type-C port for faster data transfer and charging.

For now, we only know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will appear around August 2018. Additionally, the Galaxy Note X can be available in 2019.
