After Note 7, Galaxy S7 Edge, now another Samsung Galaxy phone exploded. This time, it happened in France. Galaxy J5 caught fire and its back fell off.
Samsung Galaxy J5: caught fire in France
2016 is definitely not a good year for Samsung. The company has gotten into many explosion incidents this year, from washing machine to smartphones. The biggest scandal of this company is Note 7. There were a lot of exploding Note 7 incidents in the global market. This product continued to explode even after Samsung recalled and fixed them. This made the company have to recall all Note 7 for the second time.
Not so long after that, another flagship of this giant exploded- Galaxy S7 Edge. Now, another device of the brand exploded in France- Galaxy J5. On last Sunday, a woman in France reported that her Galaxy J5 exploded for nothing. There wasn’t any external cause for this explosion. And she bought this J5 on a website with a discounted price.
It happened when she told her little son gave the phone to her. She recognized that the handset was very hot and there was smoke. Like a reflex, she immediately threw it away. After that, the handset was on fire and the rear panel of the phone fell off. Fortunately, no one got hurt. This French woman said that she will sue Samsung for this.
Galaxy S8: the hope for Samsung
So, there was another Samsung smartphone explosion. This J5 case could be the rare case like Galaxy S7 Edge. No matter what, this incident will affect Samsung’s reputation. The company hasn’t taken back their customer’s faith since the Note 7 incidents and now they got involved in this Samsung Galaxy J5. Hopefully, with the “Note 7 exchange for S8” policy, Samsung will partly get back their customers. Galaxy S8 next year will be the safe masterpiece of this giant. Let’s wait and see what Samsung will bring us.
