After releasing two beasts, the S9 and S9 Plus this year, the Samsung manufacturer now turn their attention to the midrange segment. Samsung Galaxy A6 series specs

Since Samsung had been focused much on the high-end smartphone market, they gradually lost their market share in the budget field. And in order to regain their market share in India, the company have launched two phones, Samsung Galaxy A6 and its Plus version, in India on May 21, 2018. Besides, the Galaxy A6 and A6+ will go on sale in India on May 22nd via Amazon, Paytm Mall, Samsung India E-Store, and Samsung retail stores offline.

For Samsung Galaxy A6 specs, it runs on an Exynos 7870 chipset while the A6+ gets power from a Snapdragon 450. On top of that, the Galaxy A6 is likely to have 3GB RAM/32GB storage or 4GB RAM/64GB storage. Meanwhile, the Plus variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. For the operating system, both the Galaxy A6 and its Plus variant will run UI 9.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.

In terms of the display, the Galaxy A6 has a 5.6 inch Super AMOLED display with a 1480 x 720 px resolution. Whereas, Galaxy A6+ has a 6 inch Super AMOLED display with a 2220 x 1080 px resolution. Besides, Samsung Galaxy A6 camera can equip a 12MP lens with the autofocus system coming with an 8MP selfie snapper. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus camera setup includes a dual 16MP+5MP primary camera coming with a 24MP front shooter. In addition, the A6 device owns a 3000mAh battery while the Plus version has a 3500 mAh juice box.

As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy A6 series has launched in India on May 21, 2018. For the cost, it depends on the variants. The Samsung Galaxy A6 will retail in India at a starting price of $323 ~ INR21,990 for the 32GB storage variant and $337 ~ INR22,990 for the 64GB model. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus price is around $382 ~ INR25,990.
