Samsung Galaxy A40 arrives in Europe
Not so long ago, we have spotted various press renders of many new Samsung Galaxy A handsets. As far as we learned, the Galaxy A series consists of many devices including Galaxy A40, A50, A60, and A70. Today, the new Galaxy A40 phone finally goes official in the Netherlands, Europe. In details, the Samsung smartphone specs sit between the Galaxy A50 and the Galaxy A30. Also, the Samsung device works on Android Pie with OneUI on top.
Under the hood, the Samsung phone arrives with Exynos 7885 chipset, coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Furthermore, the onboard memory carries with a microSD slot for up to 512 GB more. Regarding Samsung Galaxy A40 specs, the handset sports a 5.9” Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a notch on top. In details, the Korean manufacturer wants its customers to call this as “Infinity-U display.”
As for the design, there is only a small black bar at the bottom and the narrower edges, while the back is sloping. Regarding Samsung Galaxy A40 camera sports a dual 16MP + 5MP rear sensors with regular and ultra-wide lenses. Whereas, the front-facing snapper is the same as the Galaxy A50 with a 25MP sensor and f/2.0 aperture. According to our legit sources, the new Galaxy phone also gets a 3,100 mAh battery, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Also, here comes the smart image recognition, of which the settings are automatically adjusted based on the screen.
Samsung Galaxy A40 release date and price
From what we learned, the Dutch retailer, Belsimpel, is gathering pre-orders with an official launch scheduled for April 10. Moreover, the Galaxy A40 is soon available in the Netherlands at various web stores, including Belsimpel. Whereas, Samsung Galaxy A40 price is €249 in four colors – Black, Blue, Coral, and White.
