Alongside, the company is in the process to refund and exchange for those phones sold out. Recently, Samsung has just made an investigation to find the reason behind Galaxy Note 7 problem.
As the result of the investigation, the Note 7 issue comes from the battery. To be more specific, the mistake in manufacturing process led to the anode (+) came into contact with the cathode (-). Honestly, that’s not good at all. That causes the overheating of the battery and thus, makes the Note 7 burst into flames.
Samsung also confirmed this is just the battery issue and there is nothing to do with the rest of the phone. Additionally, the company also said that the problem doesn’t affect other Samsung devices because each smartphone has different manufacturing process and design.
