Rumor: LG G4 we have so far – Snapdragon 810, 4K video, QHD, 16MP – Some first press renders
In earlier this year, LG was introduced their LG G Flex 2 at CES 2015. And now it highly looks like LG wanna shake the market up with a new device, alleged LG G4.
As a necessary consequence after a huge movement of some giant manufactures like Apple, Samsung (recent S6 and S6 Egde), some sources rumored that LG might be integrating the fingerprint scanner technology on its next flagship, the LG G4.
“LG has been left behind in the race for fintech (portmanteau of finance and technology) as it has continued to postpone the adoption of fingerprint technology,” . “With more global smartphone-makers incorporating a fingerprint reader, which is a security measure for mobile payments, LG may have had few options left but to deploy the authentication sensor for its next marquee smartphone.”, according to some sources.
We now have an alleged press render of the unannounced LG G4. According to Twitter, there is an image which shows up the back of the handset in a grey color scheme.
As the suggested name, the next successor of the LG G3 takes many inspiration from its close sibling. However, no front-facing image though, but from the leaked pic, we can see the biggest difference between them is an strongly enhanced camera sensor in the back (in the time).
From the back side, also, other features are seemingly in the same compared to the G3, especially in LG’s power/lock key, volume rocker, laser focus, and dual-LED flash. Moreover, the phone purportedly come with a measurement of 148.9 x 76.5 x 9.9mm. However, this image is still reported as the first render, so we might find something different when it be officially launched.
There are no official idea about its release date though, but it seemingly enter the market sometime in this spring. As a logical improvement, the LG G4 is expectantly feature a much more premium build than the G3 well.
For the specs-wise, the G4 purportedly packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, 16MP camera along with optical image stabilization, and QHD display, Android 5.1 Lollipop, 3GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage as well as 4K video capabilities.
