Xiaomi is planning to launch a successor to last year’s Redmi A1 under the name Redmi A2. Before the formal introduction, the new budget-friendly device’s official images and detailed specifications were revealed. The Redmi A2 should be quite similar to its forerunner, with a waterdrop notch screen and a dual camera setup on the back. In detail, the Xiaomi Redmi A2 cameras pack dual cameras at the back.

It consists of 8MP primary lens + 0.08MP depth snapper. At the front-facing, sitting inside a waterdrop notch is the 5MP selfie lens with fixed focus. For a processor, the Xiaomi handset gets power from the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset. On the other side, the Xiaomi flagship runs on Android 13 as the operating system. Regarding the memory department, the Xiaomi device comes with 32GB/ 2GB RAM and 32GB/ 3GB RAM. Moreover, it supports two nano-SIM cards alongside one microSD slot for up to 256GB. Last but not least, the phone appears on Xiaomi Spain’s website in three colors – Light Green, Light Blue, and Black.
