Red Hydrogen One gets Wifi certification.

We have been hearing about RED upcoming smartphone for nearly a year now since it was debuted back in July of 2017. On June 22, the RED Hydrogen One passed through the Wi-Fi Alliance with its certification running Android 8.1 Oreo system. For those unfamiliar with RED, they make some of the best cameras in the world, commonly used for filmmaking. Thus, the Hydrogen One will have a beastly camera setup of its own, being capable of shooting in 4-View format.

The phone will be able to let you look around objects that have been captured with the camera. This will include having dual cameras on both the front and back of the device. This is a whole new approach to 3D we can’t wait to check out! With all the improvements made to the device, Red Hydrogen One release date has changed to August 2018. Besides, pre-registration started on Verizon earlier this month. With the Wifi certification, the Hydrogen One is one step closer to being a reality.

As for Red Hydrogen One specs, the phone includes a 5.7-inch 3D screen (2560×1440 pixels resolution). It will likely have 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Underhood, the RED device takes power from the Snapdragon 835 and a massive 4500mAh battery box. You can read more HERE.
