Realme is planning to launch its flagship Realme X at an event in Beijing with a 48MP Sony IMX586 lens and a 6.5-inch screen. Take a look below!
Realme X specs
Earlier this week, the Chinese company shared two teasers of the Realme X. According to the first teaser, the new phone comes with an AMOLED screen with high screen-to-body ratio. Meanwhile, in the second teaser, the Realme phone features a notchless display. With a notchless display, the Realme phone can pack a pop-up selfie camera. Besides, the Realme X specs offer a 6.5-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
On the other hand, the Realme X camera offers a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 on the back. Additionally, this phone comes with Nightscape Mode. As for taking selfies and video calling, the Realme phone has a single 16MP lens. Keeping the light on is a non-removable 3680mAh juice box. Moreover, the Realme phone has VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. Besides, there is an under-display fingerprint scanner for security.
Speaking of the processor, the Realme phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 flagship platform, paired with multiple RAM options. It consists of 6GB RAM/ 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM/ 128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM/ 128GB of onboard storage. In the other side, the Realme phone works on Android 9.0 Pie as the operating system. Notably, a high-end Realme X with Snapdragon 855 chipset is coming soon.
Realme X release date and price
The company is set to launch this phone on May 15th at an event in Beijing. Meanwhile, regarding the cost, the Realme X price starts at $236 ~ CNY 1, 599 for 6GB RAM/ 64GB variant, $265 ~ CNY 1, 799 for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB model, and $295 ~ CNY 1, 999 for 8GB RAM/ 128GB version.
