Razer Phone is the gaming smartphone with the gaming specifications all in. However, Razer Phone today will earn outer checks by the durability test with three rounds including scratch, burn and bend test. The most selling point is its 5.7” IPS screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate, compared to regular phone screen’s 30-60Hz. This refresh rate also allows Razer Phone’s screen pixels to recover entirely from the burn test.

When it comes to the scratch test, Razer Phone suffers some permanent marks on metal surfaces. In details, Razer Phone is solid at level 6 (tempered glass) and gets deeper groove at level 7 on the Moh scale thanks to Gorilla Corning Glass 3. Besides, Razer Phone’s top and bottom plastic grill bezels get scratch easily. Meanwhile, front cameras are protected from scratch under the glass.

On the other hand, Razer Phone gets permanent scratches from other sides of this phone, which were all made of metal. The good news is that the side-mounted fingerprint scanner still works after the scratch test. Razer Phone owners will need a case to protect the phone backside and the camera sensor because the back cameras still get scratches. Moreover, Razer Phone gets bend a bit but owns no severe damage.
