Razer Linda Project: Turning Your Razer Phone Into A Computer!

Previously, we have seen many concepts of turning your smartphone into a laptop. One of them was the recent Mirabook by Miraxess demoed last year. Moreover, there was also the Motorola DROID BIONIC Lapdock and Atrix Lapdockthere. At the CES 2018 event; Razer has showcased their well-known technology that transforms your Razer Phone into a full laptop. For now, this project comes with the name Linda.

In details, Razer Project Linda is a unique laptop shell. When you dock the Razor Phone into the specific slot, it will become a functional laptop. For the computer, it has a 13-inch QHD touch display with the similar design to the Razer Blade Stealth. Moreover, Razer Linda Project comes with Razer’s Chroma keyboard. Besides, there are a few changes in the manual, including the Android navigation buttons and a Google Assistant key.

Below the trackpad, you can sport a particular space for the Razer Phone. Once inserted, the users can connect the handset to the laptop through a USB-C connector. From then, you can see all of your applications on the screen. Notably, you can choose to use the phone as a touchpad or a second monitor. Additionally, the laptop shell doesn’t make use of the Razer Phone processor and RAM. Regarding the storage, it has 200GB for files and games. On the other hand, the laptop also performs as a charger for your handset. The rest of the specs include a 720p webcam, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-A port, and a USB-C port.

Razer Linda Project release date and price

For now, we can only see a prototype of Razer Linda Project at the CES 2018 event. However, we can expect this device to make its debut at the end of 2018 or beginning of 2019.
