Raises Over $1 Billion, Xiaomi is valued over $45 Billion

Xiaomi, the Chinese vendor is now valued at over $45 billion. Xiaomi Corp. is raising more than $1 billion in its latest round of funding. It means that Xiaomi is the fast-growing Chinese smartphone corp and be one of the most valuable start-up company in the world.

Participants included All-Stars Investment, the Russian firm DST Global, and the Singapore sovereign-wealth fund GIC. The last two companies are already Xiaomi’s shareholders. Moreover, Yunfeng Capital, a private-equity firm associated with Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. Executive Chairman Jack Ma, is also participating in the round.

This result takes Xiaomi above almost of company in Silicon Valley and also Asian technology startups. More interesting, earlier November, it is valued at $41 billion. It’s amazing Xiaomi.

Xiaomi itself established fastly as an industry heavyweight. As we mentioned before, Xiaomi is now the world’s third largest vendor. Besides that, Xiaomi’s CEO – Lei Jun- announced that Xiaomi is ambitious to be the world’s no1 manufactures within 10 years, beats out Apple and Samsung.

This year, Xiaomi expects to sell 60 million units globally, up from 18.7 million in 2013. And until now, Xiaomi shipped 11 million, 15,1 million and nearly 15,7 million in Q1, Q2, Q3 2014 respectively. It seems that this plan of Xiaomi mostly probably come true.
