A new Poco smartphone with 12GB RAM and 64MP cameras finally hits the market this month. Catch more details on Poco F6 specs below!
Poco F6 specs
We’ve known for a while that the Snapdragon chipset would most likely power the Poco F6, but now there’s confirmation – uncovered inside the HyperOS source code by various websites. The Poco F6 codenamed “Peridot” (with model number N16T), should follow in the footsteps of the recently released Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, which was the first phone to have the latest Snapdragon CPU. However, the Poco might be based on another Xiaomi model, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo (which has yet to be released).
This CPU was designed specifically for phones like the Poco F6, providing the majority of the power of a flagship at a much lower price. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC powered the Poco F5, which delivered a remarkable performance for its price point. The Poco F6 should be unveiled in April or, most likely, May. From what we learnt, this Poco handset boasts a 5000mAh energy box that supports 18W fast charging. Under the hood, the Poco handset gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
How about the display? The Poco F6 specs flaunt a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution. On the other side, the Poco device comes with 256GB/ 8GB RAM, 256GB/ 12GB RAM, and 512GB/ 12GB RAM (Expandable via a microSDXC card slot up to 256GB). In addition, the Poco smartphone runs on Android 14-based HyperOS as the operating system. How about the photography system? The Poco F6 cameras comprise a triple 64MP primary sensor + 8MP ultrawide shooter + 2MP depth sensor on the rear. At the front-facing, there is a single 16MP front-facing sensor for selfies. Furthermore, other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and stereo speakers.
Poco F6 release date and price
The Poco F6 release date should fall in April or May 2024. Regarding the cost, the Poco F6 price can start from $250 ~ Rs. 20,831. Are you going to buy this Poco phone? Could you drop a comment to let us know?
