7. Palm (aka Garnet)

Palm OS, or Garnet OS, was developed by Palm Inc. in 1996 especially for Personal Digital Assistance (PDA), and able to work on touchscreen GUI. Some years passed and the OS was upgraded to support smartphones. Nonetheless, it cannot become people’s favourite OS as well as a strong rival to Android, iOS or Windows even though it used to be employed by many  well-known brands such as Lenovo, Legend Group, Janam, Kyocera and IBM.
