OPPO RX17 Pro arrived

Previously in August, OPPO introduced its latest additions to the R series smartphone, including the OPPO R17 and R17 Pro. According to our legit source, Oppo decided that the phone will have a different name in Europe – the Oppo RX17 Pro. However, the information that the vanilla Oppo R17 will launch as the RX17 is unclear for now. On the other side, some claim that it would be the RX17 Neo instead.

As it concerns, we were talking about a simple name change, the specs are identical. In details, the OPPO device comes in only 8GB/ 128GB variant only. Also, there is a MicroSD card that can expand the storage up to 256GB. Imaging-wise, the OPPO R17 Pro camera consists of a primary 12MP sensor (f/1.5-f/2.4, 26mm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 20MP (f/2.6, AF) + TOF 3D stereo camera system.

Moreover, there is a single 25MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 to shoot selfies and video calling. On the other side, the R17 Pro works on Android 8.1 Oreo as the operating system. Whereas, the OPPO R17 Pro specs pack a 6.4-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Meanwhile, the R17 Pro gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with Adreno 616 GPU. Otherwise, the OPPO phone carries a non-removable 3700mAh power box with the Super COOC charging support.

OPPO RX17 Pro release date and price

As mentioned above, the Oppo R17 Pro was announced in late August. Furthermore, the handset would finally launch in China on November 1 and in Europe on November 6. Moreover, the OPPO R17 Pro price starts at CNY 4,300 in China, which is €543 in Europe. Also, the R17 flagship is currently available in China for CNY 3,500, so expect a price tag of around €450.
