Do you remember the Oppo R7 which was reported a few days ago? We have some good news for you now.

When OPPO launched their new R5 last year, the phone was the world’s slimmest smartphone at the time. And now, just six months later, it seems that its successor is ready to be available with something even slimmer.

The alleged new device leaked out recently with a pair of photos and a video showing the Oppo R7 in action. If the video is reliable, we’ll see a super slim bezel phone, one of the slimmest side bezels we’ve ever seen. More specifically, the Oppo handset comes with almost non-existent bezels, with the large screen taking up the entire sides of the device.

To be honest, we still don’t have much idea about the Oppo R7, though recent leaks said that the phone will pack high-end hardware and also impressive slim design. As our previous report, the new R7 will be allegedly ship a 20.7-megapixel camera, 4G LTE connectivity and MediaTek’s latest processors octa-core 64-bit MT6795 SoC.

Observing from the video we’re absolutely seeing a phablet, however it’s unclear exactly how big the screen really is.

In addition to, looking back to the past, the edge-to-edge display concept in a flagship smartphone was unveiled by Sharp in AQUOS Crystal series. But now, Oppo’s R7 looks much more attractive, with its signature look and wide-angle viewing for videos and camera.

Oppo is not confirmed anything about the appearance, existence, pricing, launch date, etc about the amazing Oppo R7 yet. But it will be quite interesting to see new Oppo R7 in the fierce race of current flagship smartphone manufacturers.
