OPPO R17 Pro goes global

From what we learned, OPPO launched the R17 Pro in China alongside the standard R17 in August. Furthermore, the R17 Pro is the first smartphone of OPPO R-series with a waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the smartphone might go on sale in China for the first time on November 11th. Before that, the smartphone is set to make its international debut including a launch event in Milan, Italy.

Whereas, the company is launching the RX17 Pro, the international version of the R17 Pro. Thanks to the minimised notch, the R17 Pro features a highly impressive 91.5% screen-to-body ratio. Meanwhile, OPPO R17 Pro specs include a 6.4-inches diagonally with 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Besides, the OPPO phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor that unlocks the device in 0.41 seconds.

As it concerns, the OPPO handset is powered by a 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz with an Adreno 616 GPU. Furthermore, OPPO has coupled the core with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Whereas, OPPO R17 Pro camera comes with a triple rear snapper including a 12MP optically-stabilised first sensor with Dual Pixel PDAF. Besides, the other two snappers include a 20MP secondary sensor and a TOF 3D stereo camera that can capture 3D images. Also, the OPPO smartphone equipped with a 25MP resolution Sony IMX576 selfie sensor. Otherwise, the R17 Pro smartphone gets a 3700mAh capacity battery with OPPO’s SuperVOOC fast charging, alongside Android Oreo software.

OPPO R17 Pro release date and price

According to what we learned, OPPO revealed the smartphone’s pricing and availability information for the Italian market only tomorrow.
