After the launch of OPPO R15 and R15 Plus in China, the Chinese manufacturer is going to introduce two variants of the OPPO R15: OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition in Taiwan. The Pro model also has another name which is R15 Pro. According to our sources, these handsets have higher prices compared to those launched in China. Meanwhile, the specifications are the same for both devices.
In details, OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition run on Color OS 5.0-flavored Android 8.1 Oreo as the operating system. On top of that, these devices offer a large 6.28-inch AMOLED Super View Full-Screen display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and a tall 19:9 ratio. In addition, for the memory, OPPO R15 and R15 Pro come with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
Next, let’s take a closer look at the differences between these phones. In terms of the camera system, the OPPO R15 camera features a dual 16MP + 5MP rear sensor. Meanwhile, the selfie shooter has 20MP. On the other hand, OPPO R15 Pro camera includes a 16MP sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor coming with a 20MP front shooter. Regarding the hardware, OPPO R15 gets power from the Helio P60 chipset, while OPPO R15 Pro runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. On the other hand, OPPO R15 battery box packs a non-removable 3450mAh juice box. Meanwhile OPPO R15 Plus draws a non-removable 3400mAh capacity. Additionally, both OPPO R15 and R15 Pro support OPPO’s VOOV super-fast charging feature. Finally, the OPPO R15 is available in Snow White, Star Purple, and Red colour. Whereas, the R15 Pro will be available in Red and Purple colours.
