Oppo planned to ship 50 million smartphones in 2015

2014 is a quite good year for Oppo, they shipped 25-30 million units in this year. But, China-bases flagship vendor is expected to doubly ship up to 50 million units in the next year.

According to sources at the handset supply chain in Taiwan and China, in 2015, they expected to ship mostly products – 35 million units, in the local market, and the remaining 15 million units will be shipped internationally.

Qualcomm processor was chosen to use in its top of the line models of Oppo. While they utilize Mediatek processor for the others range, means entry-level an mid-range level. They expected to improve remarkably Mediatek products of sub-CNY1,000 (PHP 7298) models in domestic and global markets. In addition, Lite-On Technology serves as a main supplier of camera modules and power supply devices for Oppo.

Now Oppo has four productions: N3, R5, Find 7, N1 in China with a total shipment of 2.5 million units a month on average. Besides that, more interestingly, Oppo owns 6.5% market share in Indonesia market. So, currently, it looks like Oppo is calculating the capable of building a hanset factory there.
