Oppo A3 mid-range comes with a notch
Based on the latest updates, the Chinese phone maker just rendered a sketch hinting their upcoming mid-ranger OPPO A3. From both the user manual and product presents, OPPO handset will feature a display notch housing its selfie camera, earpiece, and ambient light sensor. Besides, the smartphone would boast 56 × 75.3 × 7.8mm in size and weights 159 grams for the whole package. Also, the device seems to be bezel-less hopefully.
Surprisingly, there is also no signals of fingerprint scanner for this device as this could have been replaced with the Face Unlock. On the other hand, the device name is PADM00, which comes along with the model name Oppo A3 beneath. On the back, the handset adopts glass material with a folded texture looking unique and gorgeous. Though featuring the same display as OPPO R15, the A3 seems to aim at a different market.
Speaking of technicalities, OPPO A3 specs include a 6.32-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an 18:9 (2:1) display panel. Besides, the A3 boasts MediaTek Helio P60 chip, alongside 4GB RAM/128GB ROM (allowing for up to 256GB). Furthermore, there would be a 3.5mm headphone jack and Android 8.1 Oreo with Google’s Project Treble support. Also, OPPO A3 camera includes a 16MP rear snapper and 8MP selfie sensor housing on the front notch. Whereas, there would be a 3300mAh non-removable battery box.
Oppo A3 release date and price
According to our sources, the Chinese original equipment manufacturer expects to announce the A3 by the end of the next month, May 2018. In the meantime, the device will most likely be targeting its home country and possibly India.
