OPPO A3 gets 3C approval and goes official soon
According to our sources, OPPO A3 will be the upcoming mid-range handset to feature 18:9 display and a display notch. If this is possible, OPPO A3 would be first ever handset to feature the top-notch that you find it similar to iPhone X. Based on the latest news, the A3 was initially spotted on a China Telecom website. Furthermore, the handset was recently sighted on the TENAA and Geekbench site as well.
Interestingly, the OPPO handset has now surfaced on the Compulsory Certification of China (3C) website with the same model number PADM00. Unfortunately, the official listing neither reveals any details about phone’s spec or release date. However, its listing could be a signal that the device might drop in no distant time. As the handset would come with display notch, we can expect this mid-ranger to feature the Face Unlock as well.
Since there is no sign of fingerprint sensors on the device, we can once again expect something more like Face Unlock or under-display fingerprint mechanism. Regarding OPPO A3 specs, the handset sports a 6.2-inch screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution. Meanwhile, the OPPO phone takes power from the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, alongside 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM (allowing for up to 256GB). Whereas, OPPO A3 camera features a single 16MP rear shooter and an 8MP selfie camera.
OPPO A3 release date and price
From what we learn so far, the Chinese manufacturer expects to announce the A3 by the end of the next month, May 2018. At the time of launching, the device will most likely be targeting its home country and possibly India. Whereas, OPPO A3 price will be $310 ~ Rs. 20281 and available in Knight Black, Soybean Meal, Blue, Stardust Silver, and Pomegranate. Let us know what you think below!
