OnePlus Two: Snapdragon 810, 4 GB of RAM, 3,300 mAh, Android 5.0 Lollipop comes in Q3, 2015?
Launched last year, OnePlus One, a phone that was supposed to “raise some eyebrows”, already became a big hit worldwide despite a few particular drawbacks, since it offered top-end specs as a relatively low price. Following the success of OnePlus One, OnePlus is getting ready to release OnePlus Two, which is being expected in the 3rd quarter of this 2015.
Ever since information about the launching of OnePlus Two was revealed, there have been rumors about it being delayed until early 2016, as other reports claim that the makers don’t want to hurt sales of the still-popular OnePlus One. Yet the matter was clarified by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei on Twitter, stating that the OnePlus Two is not delayed at all, which indeed is still Q3, 2015.
1. OnePlus Two’s Price
Reports have claimed that, OnePlus One was surprisingly inexpensive for what it had to offer: elegant look, solid feel and smooth performance. The OnePlus One stars at 299 USD for the 16GB model and 349 USD for the 64GB version.
The competitive price for premium quality is one of the OnePlus One’s top selling points, and although not one word has been confirmed about the price, we still can really hope they will maintain this with the OnePlus Two. If this keeps on, we can totally expect that OnePlus could be the new king great cheap phones, when Nexus line doesn’t seem to offer the best phones for your bucks anymore.
2. OnePlus Two’s Specs
According to Carl Pei, the size of OnePlus Two “will surprise people”, so all we can do now is to guess whether it will be bigger or smaller. But one thing we can be certain about is that, OnePlus Two will have a more premium build.
A news citing Chinese website GizmoChina suggests that the OnePlus Two will be coming with a Snapdragon 810 processor, 4 GB of RAM, a generous 3,300 mAh battery, and, unsurprisingly, will be running a OnePlus One ROM based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is also rumored to be set to look quite similar to the Oppo Find 7.
Besides, we heard that the next OnePlus Two will probably arrives with laser focus fingerprint sensor and a QHD display as well. Some first renders of the device were surfaced online with an impressive design and a sophistcated look also.
In conclusion, although we don’t know much about OnePlus Two yet, with the reputation OnePlus built through the popular OnePlus One, customers have enough reasons to start getting excited for and looking forward to one of the most expected devices in 2015.
