Just a couple of days back, a HydrogenOS build started rolling out for the OnePlus 6 users in China; which brought selfie portrait mode and a couple of extra features to the device. After that, the new OxygenOS 5 build got leaked as a user shared it on XDA before the official release. This latest version brings a couple of new features to the phone such as the much awaited Front Camera Portrait Mode; preview for Light Bokeh Effect, again in Portrait Mode but for the rear camera only.

Other additions worth mentioning are the battery percentage in the status bar, schedule for DND (Do Not Disturb), dual 4G network support in SIM; Network Settings and now smart answer for Bluetooth devices is available. This feature enables automatic answering of incoming calls when connecting a headset or a Bluetooth device. Furthermore, users will be happy to see some of the irritating bugs being fixed.

For instance, the issue with ringtone volume, slightly improved sound quality, power optimizations and system stability. On a side note, let’s take a look at the latest OnePlus 6 device again. First, it sports a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED touchscreen with the resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. Besides, the phone is going to run on Android 8.1 out-of-the-box. Under the hood, OnePlus 6 takes power from the Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 chipset. The smartphone goes with at least 6GB of RAM for the standard version and 8GB for the upgraded variant with 64GB/256GB ROM and no card slot for expanding.
