Back in June, the Chinese phone company launched the OnePlus 7 with a dual-camera setup and Snapdragon 855 chipset. Today, let us introduce you to the successor of this smartphone dubbed OnePlus 8. Recently, these images of this smartphone appeared online, showing a punch-hole in the upper-left corner of the display. Additionally, this phone features an under-display fingerprint scanner for security.
Speaking of the display, the OnePlus smartphone has a 6.5-inch Optic AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. In addition, hardware-wise, the OnePlus phone gets power from the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Moving on to the storage, this phone sports massive 12GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage (not expanded).
Notably, this phone could be the company’s first device to support wireless charging. For the battery capacity, the OnePlus smartphone rocks a 4500mAh juice box that supports Warp Charge 30T. On the other side, this device comes running on Android 10-based OxygenOS skin on top as the operating system. Moving on to the camera system, this phone packs a triple camera set up on the back. It includes a 48MP primary lens, a 16MP secondary shooter, and an 8MP depth sensor. Back to front, the OnePlus phone features a single 16MP lens with an aperture of f/2.0.
